We went on a night tour of the Alcazar grounds which included palaces and the like. The guide was the best guide we’ve ever had on the multiple tours we’ve had over many years of travelling […] providing very interesting details on the treasures we viewed. I’m not typically into guided-tours, but Estefania changed my opinion. I’m not sure one can take in the visual splendor and the historical background of the Alhambra simultaneously without a guide. […] Her comprehensive knowledge about historical and current events, architecture, botany, etc. was amazing. The walk was fun. We wandered between the narrow and historic passages of Albayzin and Sacromonte until we reached the top, where experienced an amazing panoramic view of the Alhambra at night. As a bonus, and purely by chance, we were spotted by the clergy of the new mosque in the area (the only one in 500 years). This was a wonderful tour by guide Lucy […] Thankfully we got a bus included to the farthest point at Sacromonte. It was silent apart from the rain as we walked back towards and through the Albaycin. Alhambra “a pearl set in emeralds” is one of the places you have to see in your life! We had a 3.5 hour Alhambra tour with Sofia. She was able to transmit her love for Granada, its history, curiosities and legends. On top of that we had the tour of Albayzin and Sacromonte at twilight with Lucy. It was simply fabulous. She obviously loves what she does and she is very knowledgeable and informative being a native of Granada […] You do need to be in good shape to do this walking tour – plenty of up and down steep slopes. The Alhambra gets 8,000 visitors a day, so it’s definitely worth skipping the queues by booking in advance. There’s so much to see there and the history is so complex that a well-informed guide makes the tour a really rewarding experience. We were lucky to have Lucia as our guide. My partner and I booked the ‘Alhambra tour for reduced groups’ with Cicerone and were surprised with Mar […] We spent over three hours with her and she really brought the Alhambra to life, pointing out details that we might otherwise have missed if we’d visited in a group or just on our own.
